Month by month the Place Bulletin is a one-stop shop for the latest news and developments in the place management industry.

For those new to the Bulletin; whether you're a town centre manager, an academic, policy maker or anything in between, we aim to bring you some of the stories relevant to you which have caught our eye over the past month.

This month's Bulletin includes some exciting conference news - with no less than 3 new international events being announced. We also have an interesting piece from the Guardian concerning community/local websites. In addition to this we have a story on 'The Big Lunch', an event designed to bring neighbours together, and we have news on Government plans for local enterprise partnerships that will bring together councils and business on an equal footing with one voice, replacing the current Regional Development Agencies (RDAs). Finally, we have our review of the World Congress on Downtown/Town Centre Management which took place in London in June.
