MSR takes an active part in the promotion of the idea of town centre management and place management in Poland. MSR take part in local and national conferences and meetings with local authorities, stressing the importance of thoughtful development.

MSR’s key strengths include:

• Good knowledge of problems that the Polish authorities encounter when developing new ideas for change in their environment.
• Constantly developing database of various actions being undertaken in the field of place management in Poland
• Excellent relation with the faculty of City and Region Management at the University of Lodz – one of the leading departments of its kind in Poland

The owner of MSR has been involved in various activities concerning place management before the company was created in 2007. As a founder and president of INTRO association, he organised a local conference to introduce the concept of TCM to local authorities of Lodz. MSR itself has managed to continue this work and promote the idea of place management in the Lodz area. 

The idea of place management is still new to Poland, but will develop quickly when provided with appropriate tools and guidance. Many local authorities have difficulties in working in partnership with each other and private or non-governmental sectors. MSR’s aim is to become one of the leading companies providing both training and consulting services in the field of place management.
